This privacy policy sets out how Grow uses and protects any information that you give Grow when you use our website, applications or services (hereafter “services”).
Grow is committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. Should we ask you to provide certain information by which you can be identified when using Grow’s services, then you can be assured that it will only be used in accordance with this privacy statement.
Grow may change this policy from time to time by updating this page. If we make any changes to the policy, we will notify you by email in advance. This policy is effective from May 18, 2018.
Collection of personal information
When you register and when you use the Grow’s services, you provide information such as your name, email address, credit card number and other relevant data. Grow uses this information to identify you and to provide you with support, services, mailings, sales and marketing actions, billing and to meet contractual obligations.
What personal information do we collect?
A. Personal data information by users
Currently, we collect the following personal information provided directly by users:
first and last name
contact information including email address
demographic information such as birth date, gender, nationality, as well as information related to your profession and education
other information relevant to establishing your user preferences (for example, whether you want Grow to display your profile information for other users)
As with many online services, Grow requires that you provide us with some personal information in order to set up your account and use our service (for example, your name and an email address). However, most of the personal information listed above is not required. Users can choose to provide this information if they wish to share it with other users or to help Grow improve its services. If you do not provide us with the personal information that we require, we will not be able to set up an account for you and you will not be able to use Grow’s services.
B. Data from the use of the Grow website
Grow collects anonymous data from the use of our website. This data includes, for example, the responses that users input in our various development tools (such as our feedback tools and development plans), as well as user choices they make on our website (for example, which learning resources they select).
C. Analytics Data
Grow uses tools provided by third parties (Google Analytics and Hotjar) to collect statistical metrics, analyze traffic generated on our website and better understand how our users are using Grow. As part of reports containing anonymized, aggregated employee data provided to the company or other organization that is paying for your use of Grow’s services.
As part of published academic research containing anonymized, aggregated data related to leadership development.
Service providers
We may employ third party companies and individuals to help us provide services (including web hosting and customer support). If these third parties have access to your personal information, it is only to perform tasks on our behalf and they are obligated not to disclose or use your personal information for any other purpose.
Other services you link to your account:
We receive information about you when you integrate third-party apps, such as Microsoft Teams and Slack, with your Grow account. For example, when you use the Grow Slack app, we receive your name and email address permitted by your Slack profile settings in order to authenticate you. The information we receive depends on the settings, permissions, and privacy policy controlled by the third-party service. You should always check the privacy settings and notices in these third-party services to understand what data may be disclosed to us or shared with our Services.

Whenever you are asked to fill in a form as part of our services, look for the box that you can click to indicate that you do not want the information to be used by anybody for direct marketing purposes

Grow will continue to hold your data for as long as we need it to serve you and to perform other Grow purposes listed above. (Please see the description above of what we do with your personal information.) If you have deactivated your Grow account or are no longer an active user, we may delete personal information of yours that we no longer require. We may also continue to hold your personal information for the period of time that we need to pursue legitimate business interests, conduct audits, comply with (and demonstrate compliance with) legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce our agreements.
Security
We are committed to ensuring that your personal information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online. You have a right to file a complaint with a competent supervisory authority.
How we use cookies

If you are located outside of the European Union and choose to provide information to us, please note that we transfer personal information to the European Union and process it there. Our servers are certified under the EU-US Privacy Shield framework. Data transfers between servers and our users happen in a secure connection and are encrypted using SSL technology.
Should your data leave the European Union in the event including, but not limited to, natural calamity, compliance to law, or other unprecedented events, we will ensure security measures to protect your data when such transfer occurs. Business transaction
If Grow is involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, your personal data may be transferred. We will provide notice before your personal data is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
Children's privacy
Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 13 ("Children"). We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under the age of 13 without verification of parental consent, we will take steps to remove that information from our servers.
